Our story

John Driege start met de dagelijkse import van mosselen uit Nederland voor distributie in Wallonië en Luxemburg. At the request of various customers, Driege began distributing fish as well and invested in his first truck.

Commissioning of chilled distribution platform in Zeebrugge

To meet a rising demand for seafood along the Belgian coast, Driege created a platform for the collection and redistribution of goods from various transport flows.

Establishment of John Driege France

John Driege France was established to handle the grouping and preparation of seafood orders departing from France for Belgium and Luxembourg.

Commissioning of chilled distribution platform in Jabbeke

To increase our storage and groupage capacity, we moved our Zeebrugge platform to Jabbeke.

John Driege started importing Dutch mussels for distribution in Wallonia and Luxembourg daily. At the request of various customers, Driege began distributing fish as well and invested in his first truck.

Purchase of
Neufchateau platform (Longlier)

To be able to provide customers in Wallonia and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with better service, John Driege invested in a platform in Neufchateau.

Acquisition of Bosteels in Boulogne-sur-Mer

To further expand John Driege France, John Driege took over Bosteels. This company in Boulogne-sur-Mer specialised in the preparation of seafood and fish for transport.

Launch of JDOT Belshill (Scotland) with O’Toole

Driege opened a new transshipment facility for the route between Scotland and Boulogne-sur-Mer in partnership with O’Toole.

Commissioning of refrigerated platform in Liège

Driege set up refrigerated facilities at Liège Airport for the storage of fresh products.

New building in Boulogne-sur-Mer

Thanks to loyal customers and our team in Boulogne-sur-Mer, we were able to add a new building. This new building is located by the entrance to the tidal station and allowed us to increase our preparation and logistics capacity.
